The NOLA GEM app provides coping skills for stress related to daily life.

The NOLA GEM app is for people participating in the NOLA GEM study in New Orleans, LA. You will receive twice daily surveys asking questions about your daily routine, behaviour, and environment. The app will also anonymously track your GPS location throughout the day. The app may also guide you through a series of psychoeducational sessions around coping strategies for HIV+ individuals. NOLA GEM is a mobile adaptation of an evidence-based intervention (LIFT) developed by Kathleen Sikkema, Ph.D., and the content is designed by Gretchen Clum, Ph.D. and Katherine Theall, Ph.D.
