Nostalgia! the first private radio Guinea Live and Replay (Podcasts)

PRESENTATION RADIO NOSTALGIA GUINEA

August 14, 2006 at 17.50, the first private radio, 98.2 FM NOSTALGIA GUINEA, began broadcasting in Republic of Guinea and made history by breaking a taboo maintained for over a decade.

The launch of this radio has been an obstacle course made particularly difficult by the maintained prejudices on both sides and the fear of the authorities to see the mainstream media help people participate in a public debate that it wishes frankly not.

The radio GUINEA NOSTALGIA is the property of the company CANAL sagui that was created after the publication of Presidential Decree dated August 20, 2005 liberalizing the airwaves in the Republic of Guinea.

The application was filed as soon as the Application Charge Orders and book were published by the Ministry of Information. The agreement of the CNC was quick. He intervened in February 2006 and we had to wait more than five months the agreement of the Ministry of Information that we got when the new Minister, Aboubacar Sylla, was appointed at the beginning of June 2006. Once installed, it did resume Orders awaiting the signature of the previous minister, who dared not sign them, and signed our authorization Arrested July 11, 2006. The Order was issued us during a ceremony in house radio Koloma Monday, July 17, 2006.

It's only Monday, August 14, 2006, in the morning, in the great hall of the National Communication Council, we finally received our frequency, 98.2 FM. That same day, in the afternoon, we began broadcasting at 17.50 becoming the first private radio station in Guinea.

Since its launch, NOSTALGIA GUINEA broadcasts 24 hours. 24, 7 days 7.

Today NOSTALGIA GUINEA produced 52 shows every week. They are broadcast 24 hours on 24 every day. These are broadcast between 6 times and once a week with different themes each time. All these programs are produced and manufactured exclusively by young Guineans in Conakry.

Today, 27 private radio stations broadcast in Conakry and 16 inside the country. 4 private television channels broadcast in Conakry. They have a commercial or community status.

The private radio and television have created more than 1,000 jobs for young people in 7 years. They attract a lot of interest among the public and have contributed to raising awareness of youth for their future and the public authority for youth.

These undeniable achievements are a major step forward for the development of this country.

The NOSTALGIA GUINEA radio's primary objective is the development of culture in our country as music, theater, film, plastic, and other scriptural. We have at heart the development of its youth. It is in this sense that we work since the launch of the radio.

They are tens of thousands of listeners each day listening to the radio NOSTALGIA GUINEA worldwide through our website and numerous radio applications on the Web such as TuneIn.com, clover.fm, pepper.fm, etc ... and our app for android.

Moreover, US and Canadian listeners can listen to for free on their phones the component +1 401-347-0085

These major advances strengthen the positioning of our radio as a reference radio in Guinea. We owe it to our loyal listeners who continue to demonstrate their confidence in the professionalism we deploy to serve them. We thank them warmly in.
