It uses a simple and fast algorithm (Conway's Game of Life) to create mesmerizing fire-like patterns wherever you touch the screen. You'll see flames, embers, fireballs, ashes, and occasionally the elusive pulsar.

If you get tired of fire you can try out the other color themes, including "Plants and water", and "Classic" for the hardcore nerds (see screenshots). You can also tweak the scale, speed, and behavior of the simulation, to find what you (and your device) like best.
