Levels of psychedelic experience

The Psychedelic Experience FAQ (in English) describes five levels of experience. It should be noted that present a definition of the level and intensity of a psychedelic experience is too subjective activity, and the resulting data not subject to full confidence.

Primary Level:

Increased sensory capabilities (mostly visual), making the colors more "bright". Mild abnormalities in short-term memory. Changes in the communication between both sides of the brain, making the most expressive music.

Secondary level:

Colors enhanced, slight visual hallucinations (eg. Move objects), drawings seem to acquire third dimension. confused thoughts; considerable increase in creative abilities.

Tertiary level:

clear visual hallucinations, everything appears bent or altered in other ways, kaleidoscopes or fractal images seen on the walls, landscapes, images of people, etc. Hallucinations with closed eyes become three-dimensional. There is some confusion between the senses (eg. The individual begins to "see sounds as colors"). Distortions in time perception and "timeless moments". It becomes body movement extremely difficult (much effort).

Quaternary Level:

extremely strong hallucinations (eg. objects merge with others). Destruction or ego division multiple (eg. Objects appear to talk to the individual, or it starts to feel contradictory sensations simultaneously). Some loss of reality. Time loses its meaning. body experiences. Fusion of the senses.

Quinary level:

Total loss of visual connection with reality. The senses cease to function in its normal state. Total loss of the notion of self. the individual fusion feel to the space, other objects, or universe. The loss of reality becomes so severe that challenges your verbal expression. The early stages are relatively easy to explain in terms of measurable changes in consciousness and cognitive patterns. This level is different because the universe in which things are normally perceived ceases to exist.
