The application of the Romanian guitarist community

Put Your Hand on Guitar is a socio-cultural program of non-formal education among children and young people, initiated by the Play Cultural Association. The project aims to engage them in extracurricular musical activities, and its culmination is Sibiu Guitar Meeting - the largest meeting of guitarists in Romania.

The Hands on Guitar application aims to facilitate access to relevant information for guitarists about events dedicated to them and provide them with resources to learn this instrument more easily. The platform provides free of charge a list of over 35 video tutorials of some rock-folk standard songs from Romanian and international music and a Guitar Kit with song tabs.

In addition, the application provides information about the activities dedicated to guitarists at Sibiu Guitar Meeting. This year, registrations for the festival are made exclusively through the mobile application, and the participants and the public of the event will be kept informed about the 2020 edition through the notifications sent periodically.
