Quran Reciter and Nasheed Artist was born in Morroco where he studied Quran and Tajweed under a well known scholar. He memorized the Quran at a young age and graduated from a highly qualified Quran Institute where he learned the various styles of quran recitations. He has won numerous awards from local and international Quran competitions. MashAllah his videos on Youtube are viewed by millions of people around the world and has inspired many of his followers to love the quran. He has also traveled around the world inspiring Muslims and non-Muslims with his beautiful recitation that Allah gifted him with. He has an Ijazah in 2 different riwayat, warsh and hafs. And he can recite over 50 different tones or voices. And also he can imitate many renown reciters such as Sheikh Abdul Basit, Sudais, Shuraim, Mishary, Imam from Haram and more. He first came to America to lead Taraweeh in Hawaii at the age of 16. He then went on to North Carolina and Texas where he taught Quran and lead Taraweeh before moving to California where he worked as an Imam and Instructor of Quran in IIOC (Islamic Institute of Orange County) and now currently he is the founder and instructor of Al Qurra’ Academy and an Imam and Director/ instructor of ICSGV Qura’an Academy at the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley, California.
