In the year 2007, two young energetic entrepreneurs, one of them a qualified Chartered Accountant and the other a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from India, already working in Nigeria, struck upon an idea of how to use waste of Nigeria to convert it into wealth for the country. They identified the enormous quantity of surplus steel scrap generated in the country on one side and the precious foreign exchange being spent in import of steel bars, mainly used in construction activities in the country.

Thus began the journey of REAL INFRASTRUCTURE NIGERIA LTD (RINL) in a very modest way in a small village in OGUN state of Nigeria; a dedicated power line was arranged for uninterrupted power supply; local village youths were hired; all machines and equipment were imported and finally the production commenced in August 2009.

Today RINL have multiple furnaces with State of the art and high tech manufacturing facilities including furnaces, Continuous Casting Machines (CCM) making billets, Rolling Mills for rolling of high strength rebars and allied products as well as Oxygen Plant.RINL is being managed by a highly qualified team of professionals that include Chartered Accountants, MBAs, and qualified engineers who are passionate to perpetually revise and upgrade their operating standards and benchmarks in terms of quality, cost and ultimate value for money of their products.

RINL is fully equipped and has been accredited by STANDARDS ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA (SON) to produce rebars both as per Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS 117) and British Standards (BS 4449). The company has already registered Trademarks / Brands by the name REAL and RINL which carries a seal of guarantee for the users for the best quality rebars for their construction, thus giving them a peace for life.

RINL has been an environment friendly organization continuously working on reduction and control of pollution and industrial waste under the overall guidelines and support of the Ministry of Environment and other related agencies of OGUN state Government, Federal Government of Nigeria as well as Sagamu South Local Council.

RINL has contributed immensely to the development of overall quality of life and living standards of surrounding areas of its plant location by providing direct and indirect employment to hundreds of youths, both men and women.
