KPKT Radio is broadcast live and exclusively through the official website at http://radiojkt.kpkt.gov.my/, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The radio presenters will accompany you as early as 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

KPKT Radio is one of the programs planned under the 6th Thrust which is Effective Communication in the Local Government Transformation Plan.

KPKT radio operates in-house where the radio presenter, technical team and production team all consist of employees of the Local Government Department, Ministry of Housing and Local Government itself.

The main purpose of the establishment of KPKT Radio is in line with efforts to strengthen the network and relationship between the Federal Government, State Authorities, Local Authorities (PBT) directly to the public throughout the country. The hope, among others, is that all information on Government policies, programs, initiatives, announcements and information that is clear, accurate and detailed can be channeled directly to the people. This bilateral relationship can indirectly help improve the quality of municipal services throughout Malaysia.
