The mission of Radio Maria listeners evangelize and support and encourage their faith. The radio is an ideal medium for this because the Catholic voice be heard everywhere: at work, at home or on the road.

Radio Maria is in the heart of the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore, it is primarily a prayer radio. The daily Eucharist, praying the tides and the rosary with intentions of listeners take a central place.

In addition, Radio Maria wants at all levels informed about the religious treasures of the Church as in the Gospel special attention to the weaker in society: the sick, the elderly and lonely people. Radio Maria wants to bring consolation and solidarity and strength in difficult times. Preferably in direct contact with the listeners. They are therefore strongly invited to pray, to talk, and to think. So listeners and programmers form a strong faith community to supplement the parish life.
