Ratib Al-Athos | Ezroq Developer

Al-Habib 'Umar bin Abdurrahman al-Atthas is a compiler of one of the dzikir readings which is quite popular in the community at large, namely Ratib al-Atthas. The entire clan "Al-Atthas" was connected nasabally to him.

He was born in Hadramaut in 992 Hijriah. Known as a social person and not too self-effacing. To the extent that the works of his legacy that have been found until now are only the wirid collection of Ratib al-Atthas. He is classified as an educator who gave birth to many scholars.

His student who was well-known to the general public and produced many written works was al-Habib Abdullah bin 'Alawi al-Haddad, the compiler of Ratib al-Haddad. Another of his students was Shaykh 'Ali bin' Abdullah Bara'as, compiler of syarah from Ratib al-Atthas, namely the book of Tanbih al-Ghafil wa Taraqqi al-Washil. Looking at his students, it can be concluded that Al-Habib 'Umar bin Abdurrahman al-Atthas is a figure of a scholar who has no doubt about his wisdom and authority.

His work, Ratib al-Atthas is the main practice of the al-'Atthas clan which has been practiced from generation to generation, and has been generally certified by habaib when visiting various places which are the purpose of their preaching.
