Remotely allows the remote controlling of your Linux-based machine

Remotely is a small system to control a remote Linux computer with another device such as your mobile phone or tablet, from now on called controller. In order to work it requires the Remotely app running on the controller and another server application running on your remote computer. The controller will connect to that application and feed in the events.

The events currently encompass touch events, so you can effectively use Remotely as mouse or trackpad supplement.

Please read the instructions available via Help on how to setup your Linux-based computer after the first start of app. In particular, the server application needs access to the /dev/uinput device or an X11 server that supports the XTEST extension protocol.
