ROAR for Good connects you with loved ones when you need them most.

With the ROAR Personal Safety app by ROAR for Good, share your location when you want your trusted network to watch over you. Complement the app with our Athena safety wearable.

ROAR for Good designed the app to work in two ways:

1) As a stand alone safety app. Before you begin an activity, set a status to share your location with your emergency contacts and let them know what you’re doing. When you have an active status, your contacts can ask you to check in with them. And, when you’re in an unsafe or emergency situation, you can send out alert messages via the app.

2) With your Athena device. Pair your Athena safety wearable to our mobile app, designate your emergency contacts and you’re ready to benefit from Athena’s one-button access to getting help. When activated, Athena will communicate with our app to send alert messages with your location to your contacts.

The ROAR Personal Safety app also features Stories for Good™ that you can browse to stay updated on the latest news related to gender equality and find resources if you or a loved one has been the victim of assault or harassment.

Features of the ROAR Personal Safety App by ROAR for Good:

ADD EMERGENCY CONTACTS: Add your loved ones as emergency contacts so that they become a part of your trusted ROAR network.

SET A STATUS: Before walking home, going for a run, etc. set a status to alert your loved ones (emergency contacts) that you would like them to watch over you.

SHARE YOUR LOCATION: After sharing a status – and until you end your status – your loved ones will have access to your live location to stay updated on your whereabouts.

CHECK IN: While you have an active status, your loved ones can ask you to check in with them. Let them know that you are safe within the app by responding with a check in alert or sending them a customized message.

If you have Athena, your wearable will vibrate when a check in request is made. Check in by pressing the button twice.

With Athena, send these alerts and share your location at the touch of a button. Activate alarm mode (alarm + distress messages) in emergency situations by pressing and holding the button for 3+ seconds. Activate SilentROAR™ (distress messages only) in discreet situations by pressing the button 3 times.
