Audio prayers: prayers and services of the Orthodox Church

The first prayers that believers should read, when they wake up from sleep, are morning prayers, from Ceaslov or from the Prayer Book. To these are added, according to the desire and time of each, an aquatist and one or two catisms in Psaltire and at least ten methanes. And in the evening, before bedtime, first read the prayers for sleep and the Paraclis of the Virgin Mary. Then read a catechism from Psaltire and make at least ten methanes, and thus, asking for forgiveness from the smallest of the eldest, that is, the children from the parents, and marking the bed with the sign of the Holy Cross to kiss the Savior's icon. and of the Virgin Mary and let each one sleep in his bed, giving praise to God for the day that passed.

These are the minimum daily prayers, mandatory for every Orthodox Christian.
