Have fun afloat:

All of us who go to sea for pleasure go to have fun. Keeping safe is of prime importance and increases the enjoyment for everyone aboard, whatever their ability or age. We all know there are risks involved and that accidents can and do happen, whether you are racing across oceans or cruising in quiet coastal waters.

To avoid accidents happening in the first place or to prevent a bad situation becoming worse requires good training, a clear head and the ability to make decisions quickly.

Safe Skipper provides advice on preparation, checklists, equipment, communications and emergency procedures. The app will be updated on a regular basis and the developer team will always welcome suggestions from our users for further topics to include in future updates.

Thanks for downloading Safe Skipper and we hope you will find it a useful aid to staying safe and having fun afloat. You can see our website, with more boating tips, at www.safe-skipper.com
