This Sahih Bukhari Muslim translation contains 2 translation books of Sahih Bukhari hadith and Sahih Muslim hadith. Hadith Sahih Bukhari is a book (book) collection of hadiths compiled by Imam Bukhari (full name: Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughirah al-Ju'fi) who lived between 194 and 256 Hijriah.

This hadith collection among Sunni Muslims is one of the best because Bukhari used very strict criteria in selecting the hadith. He spent 16 years compiling this collection and produced 2,602 hadiths in his book (9,802 with repetition).

Al-Jami' or commonly known as the Sahih Muslim Book is a hadith collection compiled by Imam Muslim (full name: Abul Husain Muslim bin al-Hajjaj al-Naisaburi) who lived between 202 and 261 Hijriah. He is a student of Imam Bukhari.

Sahih Muslim is divided into several books where each book consists of several chapters. The title of the chapter shows Imam Muslim's jurisprudence regarding the hadiths contained in it. Sahih Bukhari together with Sahih Muslim is referred to as ash-Shahihain (Two Sahih Books of main reference).

The Sahih Bukhari Book and the Sahih Muslim Book are the most authentic hadith books when compared to other hadith books, these two authentic books are also known as As-Shahihain (if translated into Indonesian it roughly means "two authentic books"), it will but not all authentic hadiths are contained in the As-Shahihain book.
