Salmo 148

Great Psalm

1 Hallelujah! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the highest!

2 Praise him all his angels, praise him all his heavenly hosts.

3 Praise him sun and moon, praise him all the shining stars.

4 Let the highest heavens and the waters above the firmament praise him.

5 Let them all praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He has set them in their places forever and ever; He gave them a decree that will never change.

7 Praise the Lord, you who are on the earth, you sea serpents and all the deep,

8 lightning and hail, snow and fog, gales that fulfill what he determines,

9 all mountains and hills, fruit trees and all cedars,

10 all wild animals and livestock, all other living creatures and birds,

11 kings of the earth and all the nations, all the rulers and judges of the earth,

12 young men and women, old men and children.

13 Let all praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.

14 He gave power to his people and received praise from all his faithful ones, from the Israelites, the people he loves so much. Hallelujah!
