Salmo 52

Great Psalm

1 Why do you boast about evil and continually offend God? O mighty man!

2 His tongue plots destruction; It is like a sharp razor, full of deception.

3 You prefer evil to good; falsehood, to the truth.

4 You love every evil word, you lying tongue!

5 Know that God will ruin him forever: he will take him and drag him out of his tent; He will uproot you from the land of the living.

6 The righteous shall see and fear; will laugh at him, saying:

7 “Look only at the man who rejected God as a refuge; he trusted in his great wealth and sought refuge in his wickedness! ”

8 But I am like an olive tree that flourishes in the house of God; I trust in the love of God forever and ever.

9 I will always praise you for what you have done. In the presence of your faithful I will proclaim your name, for you are good.
