Salmo 61

Great Psalm

1 Hear my cry, O God; pay attention to my prayer.

2 From the ends of the earth I cry to you with a broken heart; keep me safe on the rock higher than I am.

3 For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.

4 Forever I long to dwell in your tent and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

5 For thou hast heard my vows, O God; you gave me the inheritance that you give to those who fear your name.

6 Prolong the king's days, his years of life for many generations.

7 Forever may he be on his throne before God; send your love and your faithfulness to protect him.

8 Then I will always sing praises to your name, fulfilling my vows each day.
