Usage Logger has the potential to document a number of features related to smartphone usage:

- screen usage

- app usage

- notification delivery

It also offers the ability to provide context for what a person uses the phone for:

- apps that are installed

- permissions requested by each app

- reaction to permissions requested

Finally, the app also has retrospective capabilities, it can access a centrally stored database by the android phone and establish when the screen and apps were used.
