Mother's milk is nature’s gift for the baby. Many a mother has been distressed by her newborn’s cries. She worries endlessly about what makes her child cry – when is the baby in pain or when it is just hunger that makes him wail. Such concerns regarding her infant’s hunger are very delicate issues, especially for a first-time mother.

While earlier a new mother could get useful insights and tips on breastfeeding and childcare from other mothers around them, today she relies upon self-help books and learning from their own experience.

However, actual advice and right guidance on – the right position to hold the baby while breastfeeding; how to know the baby has been fully fed; how to feed the baby and breastfeeding advice for both normal and cesarean births, etc. is very important to the new mother.

This application provides lucid answers to all such questions that new mothers may have. ShishuPoshan answers questions that are close to a mother’s heart with love and compassion. This app enables mothers to feed new born babies the vital breast milk in the right way and quantity.

App also supports Indian languages like Hindi and Marathi. Few of the terminologies used in the application are related to Indian context.
