Shrink It! - URL Shortener

No-Nonsense, clean and simple URL Shortener. Open App paste the url and submit!

This is by far the easiest way to shorten your long, ugly URLs and share them with your family and friends or post them online!

By shortening the URL, you can easily tweet it without much hassle and get the job done within seconds.

This app uses a fast dedicated server to shorten the URL @ vinu.info and is in no way uses the public shortening services by Google, adf.ly, etc. like other apps on the Play Store.

This means that none of your personal data or anything of that sort will be stored or recorded by this app or the server.

All you Lollipop users are in for a real treat since this app is made by keeping the Material Design in mind!. This is the FIRST APP of it's kind on the Play Store which uses the latest Lollipop Material Design! :D

I haven't bombarded the app with too many functions and just smoothed the core functionality of the app, ie: Shorten URLs and share it quickly with others! I don't have any plans to make this an analytic app at all.

Permission Details:

♦ Full Network Acess (android.permission.INTERNET) -- It's needed to connect to my server to shorten the URLs.

♦ View Network Connections (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) -- The app checks whether you have a working internet connection or not and warns you if you don't!

♦ Modify Or Delete Contents (android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) -- This is needed to save your links for future use.

♦ Read Contents Of Your USB Storage (android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) -- This is needed to fetch your previously shortened links!
