About sign language for beginners

complete set of languages for beginners here

Humans communicate through media called language, therefore language is something that is important to our lives. Through language, human beings can understand what other human beings mean.

Language is also the key to science, because with it we can know and master many things through the process of information exchange.

Like the function of language in general, sign language for deaf people is also inseparable in their daily lives. Why? Because they also need to communicate, besides that it can also help the development of interaction, social maturity, and cognitive deaf people.

In Indonesia there are two sign languages used, namely the Indonesian Sign Language System (SIBI) created by Alm. Anton WIdyatmoko is a former SLB / B school principal (a special school for deaf people) in Jakarta and Surabaya and Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO).

But unfortunately, SIBI, which is now officially recognized by the government, has a bad history. The emergence of SIBI apparently did not pass the approval of the Indonesian Deaf Welfare Movement (GERKATIN) and was even involved for deliberation.
