This is the companion app for Samsung Gear Watch , Social Photo Watchface.

It is a watchface with photos from your Facebook account as background.

It works with this companion app installed on your phone. Phone application access your Facebook account and retrieves user photos (photos that you are tagged in and that you add to your album)

The watchface retrieves photos (from last one to the previous) with a period that you define. (5 minutes is the default, but you can change from 1 minute to more than a day)

Again you can also choose last N photos to cycle through.

So for example, you can set it to use last 20 photos and cycle through them every 10 minutes.

This app uses an Android app on your phone to communicate with Facebook. So your should install the Android app and login to Facebook from it, then allow this app to access your posts on Facebook.

Also , your Gear watch should be connected to your phone through bluetooth and your phone should be connected to internet.

The watchface will scale the photo and center it on the Gear Watch 360x360 pixel screen. So you will lose some part of the photo from all corners.

With each access to Facebook, you have to wait a small amount of time to retrieve new photos.

watchface is a highly customizable watchface with analog and digital indicators.

It can show following information:

- analog time

- digital time (24hr/12hr options)

- digital date (optional)

- analog seconds needle (optional)

- digital seconds (optional)

- watch battery state

- connected phone battery state

- day of week (optional)

- hearth rate (optional)

- steps (optional)

You can select watchface frame from 3 options. And choose to use transparent or colored watch needles.

It has a suitable AOD (always on) watchface showing time in digital and analog formats.

Why it is HIGHLY customizable ?

* You can select the frame type for your watchface:

1- all numbers

2- only 3,6,9,12 as numbers , rest as indicator points

3- no numbers, all indicator points

* you can select to display digital time in 24hr or 12 hr formats

* you can select to display or not display digital seconds

* you can select to display or not display anaog seconds needle

* you can select to show health information (hearth rate and steps)

***THIS OPTION Causes slightly higher battery usage. Be warned.

***The health information is refreshed when the screen becomes visible and after loading the watchface for the first time, health information may not be correct. Please allow at least 2 times for the screen to become hidden and visible for correct information.

***Step data resets when you load/reload the watchface. Then it resets every new day.

***STEP AND HEART RATE INFO differs from what S Health shows, because;

1. heart rate is spontaneous one time info when you check on the watch

2. step is counted after the watchface is loaded and it is reset every new day.

SO, THEY WILL NOT SHOW WHAT S HEALTH SHOWS.

Please don't forget:

For the settings, you need to use the companion app on your Android phone. On the app , when you finish your selections, you have to click the "submit" button. And then your watch will receive the settings automatically next time the watchface is loaded or becomes visible. If you want to sync your settings manually, you can click the center of the watchface.

NOTE: if the app/service on your Android app is closed accidentally or else by yourself, you have to run the app for proper usage of the app.
