Surah Ghashiya

He who recites this Surah will be reckoned with an easy Reckoning by Allah

As for the virtue of studying this Surah, there is a tradition from the holy Prophet (S) that says:

“He who recites this Surah will be reckoned with an easy Reckoning by Allah.”

And another narration from Imam Sadiq (as) says:

"He who continues reciting this Surah in his obligatory or voluntary prayers, Allah will put him in His Grace both in this world and the Next, and will keep him safe from fire in the Hereafter.”

Certainly it will be so, if the person would only think about the Surah and act accordingly.

i) Whoso recites this surah regularly in his obligatory and supererogatory salats, he would receive Allah’s mercy in this world and in the hereafter; he would be protected from the fire of hell, and he would have a smooth sailing during the reckoning.

ii) If this surah is recited for a child (human or animal) who screams very much, he would get rid of this habit and have an ordinary life of a child.

iii) If a person is suffering pain in a molar tooth or in the teeth recite this surah to remove pain, uneasiness.

iv) If some one eats food after reciting this surah over it, Allah would keep him safe from any harm in the food.

v) If this surah is recited for a man who is straying he would come back on the right path.

Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) said: If a person regularly recites: Surah Ghashiya in his obligatory and recommended prayers, Allah’s mercy would pervade him in this world as well as the next, and on the Day

of Judgment, Allah would keep that man safe and protected from the chastisement of fire.
