Sūrat at-Taḥrīm (Arabic: سورة التحريم‎‎, "Banning, Prohibition") is the 66th sura of the Quran and contains 12 verses. This is a Surah which deals with questions regarding Muhammad's wives.

1. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites Surah Tahrim, Allah would provide him promptitude for sincere repentance.

Surah at-Tahrim (The Prohibition)

This ‘madani’ Surah has 12 ayaat. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (S) that the one who recites this Surah will be from those who always seek sincere repentance from Allah (S.w.T.). The recitation of this Surah and drinking of its water acts as a cure from many ailments and diseases.

If this Surah is recited by a person who is not getting sleep then he will be able to sleep and if recited by a person who is frightened, he will become calm. Frequent recitation also helps a person who is in debt to clear his debts. Surah Tahreem mp3

i) Whoso recites this surah Allah would prompt him to turn sincerely rependant to Allah.

ii) If this surah is written on a china plate, washed with clean water and sprinkled on an epileptic he would be fully cured.

iii) If this surah is recited for a man who has been bitten by a scorpion, the poison would not spread in his body and he would be fully cured; and likewise a man afflicted with palsy would also be cured.

iv) Whoso recites this surah regularly he would become able to pay all his debt, however much they are.
