This update is strictly about improved performance and fixed bugs. To keep it useful, here’s an old life hack that makes for a new experience.

You don’t have to turn the brightness up every time you show a barcode or QR code at checkout. It can be done automatically. To enable this feature go to “Menu” → “Brightness auto-adjust”.
