Whistleblower is a free civic application aimed at improving security.

Its task is to facilitate reporting of incidents that violate legal regulations and social norms. So far, this process has been arduous and ineffective due to the lack of evidence and fear of the consequences of reporting and not knowing what and to whom to report.

The Whistleblower application changes that, it is an excellent tool that serves the public good.

The most important functions:

- report the incident (in the case of an irregularity / crime - the possibility of sending evidence to the selected institution),

- notify the services (possibility of immediate selection of the emergency number),

- whistleblower forum (community made up of active citizens).

How can the Whistleblower be used in practice?

The application significantly facilitates the process of reporting abuses, crimes or important social matters to the appropriate services that are obliged to deal with each such case. Everything is done in five simple steps:

• We choose the category to which the event belongs,

• We define the date and time, describe the entire situation,

• Using geolocation, we indicate our location or enter the address manually,

• We add a photo or video documenting the incident,

• We choose the institution or body to which we want to send our application, we determine whether we want to receive a copy of the message by e-mail,

• We will summarize the report, and also decide whether the notification should be anonymous, then we approve everything by clicking on "submit report".

Whistleblower is an application that will allow us to take a photo / video and provide it in real time in the form of a report to the appropriate services. This applies to all areas we deal with on a daily basis.

Eon46 and MISO started cooperation and initiated a civic project entitled "Whistleblower", aimed at promoting and disseminating knowledge about whistleblowing, activities for the implementation of legal protection of whistleblowers as well as the development of civic awareness and promotion of civic attitudes, consisting in disclosing irregularities by persons who, in connection with their professional, scientific or social activity, encounter illegal or illegal activities.
