A tablet game to assist patients in addiction treatment.

Take Control is a swiping-based tablet game to pit the player's avatar against craving(s) of substance abuse. In various settings, cravings will be offered to the player, who can refuse or destroy the craving icon with a swiping motion across the screen. This will give players a sense of accomplishment, self worth, and choice. There are several sub-themes of the game, including trigger avoidance, seeking help, decreasing stress, and helping others.
