The ECC Tango-cho app includes words from an extensive library of educational materials,

as well as those that users upload and share, making it an ideal tool for learning important vocabulary.

Use it to prepare for TOEIC®Tests and EIKEN® tests, improve your language skills by increasing your vocabulary, learn business-appropriate language, and broaden your expressive capabilities. In addition to regular vocabulary, you can also learn idioms and other expressions. You can use it to study languages other than English too.

When you hear a new word or expression you want to remember, on the news for example, just open up the app, input the word, and you’ll be able to quiz yourself until you become confident that you know it.

The app makes use of a spaced repetition learning technique to help you internalize words more effectively.

*Spaced repetition involves more frequent repetition of questions answered incorrectly, and less frequent repetition of those answered correctly. This technique helps you focus on the words you struggle with, helping you remember them more quickly, and allowing you to study long lists of words and expressions effectively.

Quizzes are 1–2 minutes each. But effective repetition within this short time will allow you to internalize a wide variety of words and expressions quickly.
