U + family guardian is a service that can be confirmed, such as the current location of the protected person and an emergency call.

Introducing the U+ Family Keeper app that can help protect the safety of parents, children, and friends.

The U+ Family Keeper app is available for devices such as Kakao Friends Kids Watch and U+ Location Alert.

It is convenient because it can be used by connecting to the smartphone owned by the person to be protected.

• Real-time location notifications

The location of the object to be protected can be checked in real time on the guardian's mobile phone.

You can check the current location of the object to be protected, such as children and the elderly, on the map.

If you set a notification for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours, the current location of the object to be protected will be automatically sent to your phone.

Up to 5 people, including guardians, can register to receive location information of the object to be protected.

• Safe area notification

If the object to be protected leaves the preset safe area, a notification is automatically sent to the guardian.

When a guardian selects a specific location, it is registered as a safe area up to a 2km radius.

You can register up to 5 safe areas.

• SOS emergency call

If an emergency occurs for the person being protected, pressing the emergency call button automatically sends a notification to the guardian.

• Check your child’s safety at any time with the app

You can check your child's safety and contact them at any time through functions such as 'Call me' and 'Real-time location inquiry'.

• Kids Watch’s artificial intelligence service, ‘Knock Tok’

It has an AI (artificial intelligence) function that understands what your child says and responds like a friend.

You can search various information and easily run Kids Watch functions using your voice.

We provide various designs for each Kakao Friends character, such as Ryan and Apeach.

To use the U+ Family Keeper app, you must agree to the required permissions below.

If you do not agree, you cannot use the service.

※ In the case of optional permissions, you can use the app even if you do not agree.

• Required access rights

① Contact information: Used for the contact reading function in the protected person app when searching contact information. When registering a contact, use it to write the contact in the protected person app.

② Notification: The location of the person subject to protection will be notified via push message.

③ Phone: Required to check the status of phone calls. When you select the phone button, you will be taken to the phone making screen.

④ Display above other apps: Used to select the person to be protected when making an SOS emergency call.

• Optional access rights

① Location: Allows you to search for the current location when setting a safe area.

② Camera: You can use the camera function when setting up a profile.

③ Photos and videos: Used to import photos through the gallery when setting up a profile.

• LG phone: Settings → General → Apps → U+ Family Keeper → Permissions → Uncheck items for each permission.

• Samsung mobile phone: Settings → Application Manager → U+ Family Keeper → Permissions → Uncheck items for each permission.
