The Kimito Islands area consists of over 3000 islands and skerries. Around 30 of these are inhabited around the year. When travelling from the Helsinki region, the islands constitutes the gate to the Finnish Archipelago Sea, the largest and most beautiful archipelago in the world with its 40.000 islands.

The closeness to the sea, the pristine and clean nature and our historical and famous sights combined with easy and fast access from Helsinki, Turku and Salo makes the Kimito Islands a popular destination around the year. The tallest lighthouse in the world, Bengtskär, the Örö fortress Island and the historical ironworks village Dalsbruk are examples of the well known sights, which are presented together with almost hundred other unique destinations in this app.

With the Visit Kimitoön app you have easy access to information about:

- all events, markets and festivities in the area

- accommodation to suit all tastes

- sights, activities, boat cruises and places to dine or have a snack
