Better than Wordle

Inspired by Wordle, Waffle Word is a word puzzle game that is interesting, intriguing and relaxing. The game challenges you to solve the “waffle word”, which is a matrix of word, within 15 moves. You’ll need to use both your English vocabulary as well as your logic to guess the correct words, in the correct positions. The game is relaxing, but also helps to train your brain and to expand your vocabulary.

How to Play:

Rearrange the letters into the correct words, horizontally and vertically. Drag letters anywhere on the board. The letters will change color to show whether they are in the correct position.

The number of moves remaining is displayed below the board.

Use the colors of the letters to help you guess the words:

• Green color: The letter is in the word, AND is in the correct spot

• Yellow: The letter is in the word, BUT in the wrong spot

• Black: The letter is NOT in the word

Take note of the letter in the junction (between a column and a row). If its color is yellow, that means the letter EITHER belongs to the VERTICAL word OR the HORIZONTAL word.

All the Waffle Word puzzles can be solved with 10 moves.
