aWham! is a British pop band formed in 1981 by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. George and Andrew met while they were both at Bushey Meads Schooll. In a short time this duo has been awarded a recording contract from CBS, Columbia Records and Epic Records.

George is more dominant in Wham! wrote songs and produced most of Wham's songs! Their song Wham Rap! which entered in their first FANTASTIC album and released in 1982 was banned in England because it contained negative lyrics. Although many music critics think of Wham's music! nothing more than a cheap song, but some critics began to see the power of George Michael in writing and singing the song.

Around 1986, George Michael wanted to change Wham's musical path. He wants to create more mature songs. Unfortunately this George Michael's decision even tails the dissolution of Wham duo! this. Although only has 3 studio albums, FANTASTIC, MAKE IT BIG, and MUSIC FROM THE EDGE OF HEAVEN, but the name Wham! is still remembered by many people was proven by the re-release of their singles like Last Christmas that was released back 2007 yesterday.
