Yoga Taravali

Yoga Taravali is a text on Yoga composed by Adi Shankara.

Most of us are aware of the text Yoga Sutras written by Patanjali. Yoga Taravali is composed by Adi Shankara, the Vedantin. This text is unique as it combines both Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga in a single treatise. The lack of understanding the subtlety forms a barrier in our Yogic way of life. Mere Hatha Yoga is not fruitful and similarly, mere Raja Yoga does not lead to perfection. Combining both, Yoga is understood in full.
