The book of Al-Mujtaba from Al-Mujtana deals with a number of topics. He talked about some matters related to the Holy Qur’an, such as the endowment, the speech, and the similarities. Then he talked about the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and some of the male and female companions. He also mentioned some hadiths that have the focus of religion, and other topics in a sweet and easy manner. And it goes.

The author began it with matters related to the Holy Qur’an:

1- Discourse in the Qur’an

2- Types of pauses in the Qur’an

3- Places in which scholars mentioned that pausing is better, such as the Almighty’s saying (Indeed, those who love that indecency be spread among those who believe) pausing and then reciting (For them is a painful punishment...)

4- Places (there is no god but Him) in the Qur’an

5- Then he entered into the science of Qur’anic similarities.. Where in the Qur’an (So He made them seven heavens) and where (So He made up for them seven heavens), and so on, and also when does harm precede benefit and its opposite?

Then he moved on to mentioning the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and began with:

1- His lineage and mother

2- His uncles and aunts

3- His wives, sons and daughters

4- His servants and his ships

5- His conquests

6- His book, his guards, and whoever resembles him

7- The caliphs after him, peace and blessings of God be upon him, starting with Al-Siddiq and ending with Al-Nasr for the religion of God Al-Abbasi... Then pointing to some of the news of the ten promised Paradise (their names, descriptions, and children...)... Then their chains of transmission (How many hadiths did they narrate, how many of them are in the two Sahih books, how many of them are agreed upon, and how many are unique. Al-Bukhari or Muslim)... Then some of the famous Companions, such as Zaid bin Haritha, Uthman bin Mazun, Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib, and Khalid bin Al-Walid, may God be pleased with them all, did so. Then some of the famous female Companions did this, and began by mentioning the Mothers of the Believers, may God be pleased with them, then his daughters, then some of the famous women. Such as Fatima, daughter of Asad and Umm Ruman, may God be pleased with them all... Then the hadiths that contain the orbit of religion... Then naming the watchmen of the Ansar, those who witnessed Badr, those who compiled the Qur’an by memorization, and those who issued fatwas during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and may God be pleased with them all... Then he mentioned those who were brothers. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him among them, then he mentioned some whose hearts were reconciled, then some of the hypocrites.. then those of the Companions whose death was delayed, then the nobles of the blind, then the heads of the nobles who were killed or crucified, as well as those who were beaten.. then naming those to whom knowledge came.. then he mentioned the first ones, such as the first who said, “As for what follows.” ; David, peace be upon him.. Then he mentioned those who are related to their mothers, as well as those known by their titles.. Then he mentioned names in which men and women are equal, such as Umayyah ibn al-Salt and Umayyah bint al-Salt.. Then what is called the Mutafiq and al-Muftaraq, for example, Omar ibn al-Khattab, six of whom are Commander of the Faithful, as well as Uthman Affan, two of whom are Commander of the Faithful. .. Then some historical mysteries, then he mentioned the classes, and in each class was the person at their head (the caliph, the jurist, the hadith scholar, the reciter, and the ascetic).
