Anthology of Rumi's poems along with the lyrics

Jalaluddin Mohammad bin Bahauddin Mohammad bin Husseini Khatibi Bakri Balkhi known as Rumi or Mullah Rum is one of the greatest Afghan mystics and one of the greatest first-rate poets of Afghanistan. His family was from a respectable family in Balkh and it seems that he is related to Abu Bakr Khalifa and his father was the mother of the daughter of Sultan Aladdin Mohammad Kharazmshah and for this reason he was known as Bahauddin Walid.

He was born in 604 AH in Balkh. Because his father was one of the great elders of the time and Sultan Mohammad Kharazmshah was not kind to this dynasty, Bah به'u'llينh left Khorasan with his family in 609 AH. He went to Mecca via Baghdad and from there settled in Algiers, and after nine years in Malatya, Sultan Aladdin Kiqbad, a Seljuk mystic, invited him to his capital, Konya, where the family settled. Jalaluddin was five years old when he emigrated from Khorasan and his father died in Konya in 628 AH.
