Learning Indonesian fine arts is not aimed at producing professional artists, but rather at inviting students and teachers to think like artists; have creative abilities; able to produce and develop original ideas and actions, able to ask meaningful questions, be playful and most importantly see and love beauty. Art is a means of optimizing one's human potential.

This teacher's guidebook was designed based on the Grade 1/Phase A Fine Arts Learning Outcomes from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. In designing it, we strive to help bridge the various needs of fellow teachers in various parts of the archipelago in all conditions.

We hope that the contents and material of this book can make it easier or provide inspiration for fellow teachers as well as building students' love of beauty, both work and the harmony of life. Another hope is that this book can also be used by anyone who is trusted to teach fine arts lessons, even though they may not have a background in fine arts education. This book is dedicated to all of us who strive to humanize humans.

This Teacher's Guide is flexible; Fellow teachers have room for creativity to adapt learning to the environmental context and their abilities. Fine arts learning respects and celebrates the diversity and personal potential of each teacher. We invite our fellow 1st grade elementary school teachers to join in learning again with their students and rediscovering the "artist" in each of them.

Bring your colleagues into the world of our students which is rich in color and shape and explore your fellow students' own potential.

We especially thank our fellow 1st grade fine arts teachers for having a fun learning experience with you, in the future Indonesian students will love beauty and humanity.
