One of the problems of khilafiyah that is often discussed by our society is the problem of sending al-quran recitations for the deceased. Some people reject it and even punish it as an act of heresy. And some others consider it to be something that is permissible in religion.

This is naturally the case in our society, because the issue of sending gifts to dead bodies has become a tradition and includes the issue of khilafiyah on which our scholars have differed from one another.

In fact, what was being debated by the salaf scholars was not the issue of whether or not it was permissible to send al-Quran recitations for the deceased. But it is more to do with whether the reward for reciting the Al-Quran that is awarded for the deceased reaches or not.

Well, our salaf scholars have different opinions on this matter. And we need to know that this problem has been discussed by our scholars in detail in their respective turost books. Even our scholars have also explained it neatly along with the arguments.

We, as people who are unfamiliar with religious knowledge and are even very unfamiliar with arguments, it is sufficient for us to refer to the aqwal of the salaf scholars. We no longer need to be tired to find the arguments that we use to strengthen our opinion. Because indeed our scholars when discussing a problem what they use are the arguments from the Koran and hadith.
