Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah SWT, finally we PonPon Media have successfully completed the application of the Book of Fiqh Safinatun Najah.Safinatun Najah (Arabic: النجاة‎) is a concise book about the basics of jurisprudence according to the Shafi'i school. This book is intended for students and beginners so that it only contains the conclusions of fiqh law without including the arguments and the basis for taking the arguments in determining the law.

Even so, there are still some problems of fiqh that are classified as ikhtilaf among scholars of jurisprudence between schools and even among scholars of the Shafi'i school themselves, so that seriousness or guidance is needed in choosing a more appropriate opinion (rajih) in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah. . The Book of Safinah was written by Sheikh Salim bin Abdullah bin Saad bin Sumair Al Hadhrami, a very prominent great scholar from Yemen who died in Jakarta in the 13th century H.

He is an expert in Fiqh and Tasawwuf who adheres to the Shafi'i school of thought. In addition, he is an educator who is known to be very sincere and patient, a just and zuhud qodhi to the world, he is even a politician and military observer of Islamic countries. This book is popular among Nahdliyyin Islamic boarding schools and is included as one of the basic curriculum materials.

The Book of Safinatun Najah Translated is the most widely studied by Salafi students in various Islamic boarding schools, perhaps it can be called the basic book in Islamic boarding schools. Like the books of fiqh in general which discuss the Pillars of Islam (the creed, prayer, fasting, zakat, and hajj) as well as supporting matters regarding the legal requirements of worshiping Allah, The Book of Safinah An-Najah which is written by Sheikh Salim bin Samir Hadlrami also discussed the fiqh issue above.

The Book of Safinah has the full title Safinatun Naja Fiima Yajibu `ala Abdi Li Maulah (a boat of salvation in learning the obligations of a servant to his Lord). Even though this book is small, its benefits are enormous. In every village, city, and country, almost everyone learns and even memorizes it, both individually and collectively.

In many countries, this book can be obtained easily in educational institutions. Because, both the students and the scholars like to study it carefully and thoroughly.
