In Ayurveda, we classify people as having one, or a combination of two or three Doshas – Vata, Pitta, or Kapha.

It’s important to know which of these Doshas you have, so you can determine what foods and activities you should avoid, and which you should try to nourish and balance out.

So, how do you know which of these Doshas you have?

This quiz can reveal whether you have Vata, Pitta, or Kapha.

This quiz comprises three parts. There are a total of 75 questions with 25 questions each. Read each question carefully and choose the numbers, keeping in mind your health, mood, and performance as per the question.

3 – almost applicable (or) only sometimes applicable.

6 - completely applies (or) very much applies to me.

See which of the three areas of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha you have scored the most. See which part has the highest score, for example, Pitta has the highest score, followed by Vata, then your body type is or the aggravated doshas are Pitta and Vata. If Kapha score is high and Vata and Pitta scores are low, then your body type or the aggravated dosha is Kapha. If you get almost equal scores in all three doshas, you have to retake the quiz.

The Vata Pitta Kapha test is a simple Ayurvedic test to determine the type of constitution of an individual. The results of this test can help you to understand your body type, which in turn helps you to understand your body’s needs and how to take care of yourself. This test is also used to diagnose illnesses. Taking ayurvedic medicines after analyzing the doshas will yield the best results.
